Welcome to the GentleCure™ Connect Newsletter

Skin Cancer Awareness Month takes place every May, and it is an important time to learn more about the dangers of skin cancer, how to prevent it, and what treatment options are available for you. During May, you’ll see reminders about wearing sunscreen, avoiding tanning beds, performing skin checks, and scheduling your annual skin exam with your dermatologist.

Skin cancer is the most common type of cancer in the United States, with more than 6-million people being treated for it each year. Catching skin cancer early means it’s much easier to treat and manage.

Skin Cancer Awareness Month started in the early 1990s when the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) began promoting a month dedicated to skin cancer awareness to help spread important information about prevention and early detection.

Skin Cancer Awareness Month is an important time of the year. Throughout the month, we’ll post information on social media (links are at the bottom of this newsletter). We hope you find it helpful – and don’t forget to share with your family and friends!

GentleCure: "A No-brainer"

Melinda had a tough experience with Mohs surgery on her nose. The surgery didn’t go well, and she needed a skin graft. When she learned she had another basal cell skin cancer on her shin, she was worried about how it would heal.

One day, while scrolling through social media, Melinda saw an ad for GentleCure. She decided to contact a Skin Cancer Information Specialist and was very impressed. The specialist answered all her questions and helped Melinda find a practice near her that offered GentleCure.

Melinda completed the GentleCure treatment and is very happy with the results: “Choosing GentleCure was a no-brainer.” She’s grateful she found GentleCure and encourages others to consider it too.
